About Marques D. Jones

Marques Jones is the Founder and CEO of The Senior Living Retreat based in Missouri City, Texas. Mr. Jones has a background in business administration as well as experience in psychology for adolescents. He has also operated and performed in the roles of Management in multiple national and international companies over the past 17 years. Mr. Jones prides himself on being effective and active in both the community, and professional settings. His core values consist of communication, integrity, and making sure that he fulfills his social responsibility by being a humanitarian and pillar for family support and change.

Mr. Jones graduated with his bachelor’s from the notable and esteemed College known as Texas Southern University in 2013. His college experience helped him develop an early interest in learning how to survive immeasurable circumstance and be the change that the world needs today for true help and healing in the world today.

In 2019 Mr. Jones opened The Retreat of Senior Living to aide seniors, disabled persons, IDD classified individuals, as well as veterans who served the country but lacked a stable environment and unfortunately fell into homelessness. It is his core belief that those who have served as heroes for our country in any branch of the military services should not have to come home after discharge and be subjected to a common plague such as being homeless, with no food or stable care to support them in there homecoming

Mr. Jones goal is to help his clients chose healing over hurt in all circumstances.

Mr. Jones clients are bringing a new definition to the meaning of survivorship daily. The overhead goal and mission is to provide an exceptional assisted living lifestyle through a dedicated and compassionate team, combined innovative community involvement and enriched services that promote dignity, choice and independence.

Mr. Jones participates and humbly chooses to be of service to the at-risk population monthly in Texas by providing nutritional meal kits, and providing clothing, hygiene, and grooming services.

Mr. Jones’s internal motivational stance is to advocate for not only the elderly, disabled, and veterans but all humanity. It is his hope to be the example for the millennium society of today and exhibit that because you are facing a medical element that you don’t have to accept anything less than survival. You can choose daily to be the light in every dark situation that life tries to overwhelm and consume you with. You are your own validation, and you matter, and remind them that there are still people who genuinely care about people and their state of wellbeing.

Mr. Jones is in the process of creating a annual conference that allows anyone who has the desire and will to be properly taught on running an effective health based organization rather it be assisted living facility or the provider or support staff for the assisted living facility. His continued testament throughout this journey has been to be known as a modern-day Martin Luther King Jr for millennials, while his desire is to be an ambassador for change such as Rosa Parks.
